Mr. Yijun Tang

Mr. Yijun Tang is a very seasoned and accomplished translator and a famous teacher at Grouphorse. He has been a member of the English Expert Committee of the China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters and designing and marking the test for years, and has been voted the most popular teacher at Grouphorse.

Tang worked at the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration in charge of translation and training from 1983 to 1994. He is an associate professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Beijing Technology and Business University and specializes in English-Chinese translation and Chinese-English translation of the Party and government documents. He has published a dozen papers in high-end translation journals and written On Chinese-English Translation Strategies (published by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press in 2011), which has been very popular. He also has written over 50 textbooks and reference books published by leading foreign language presses including the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the China International Publishing Group and the Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press.
