Tang Xing, Chairman of Grouphorse Group, Invited to Deliver ESG Training to the New Leadership of the Shanghai Services Federation

On May 6, 2024, Tang Xing, Founder, Chairman, and President of Grouphorse Group, was invited by the newly appointed leadership team of the Shanghai Services Federation—under the supervision of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce—to deliver a specialized ESG training session during the “Current Affairs and Government Affairs Micro-Class” segment of the first meeting of the federation’s fifth council.

Chairman Tang began by introducing the concept and framework of ESG, helping participants gain an intuitive understanding of ESG indicators. He then analyzed the practical significance and current conditions for ESG development in China, interpreting relevant national policies. Tang further elaborated on ESG’s top-level design, foundational infrastructure, and practical tools. At the end of the session, he addressed questions raised by the attending leadership.

This ESG-focused training was highly praised by participants, deepening their understanding of ESG and accelerating the preparations for the establishment of the ESG Services Committee under the Shanghai Services Federation.

· In 2021, he was received by Ambassador Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator in China.

· In 2023, he was received by Sanda Ojambo, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of the UN Global Compact.

· In 2019, Grouphorse Vice President Zhou Jingqi was recognized as a “UN SDG Youth Pioneer” by the UN Global Compact.

· In 2024, Grouphorse was officially authorized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) to deliver training under the “UN Leadership for the SDGs” program, with the capacity to issue official UN certificates.
