On August 31, a delegation from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) visited Grouphorse Group for research and exchange. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening university-enterprise cooperation and empowering Chinese enterprises in pursuing high-quality global expansion. Zhang Li, President of Grouphorse Group, and Jiang Feng, Assistant to the President, warmly received the delegation. Cao Shujing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of English at SISU, together with faculty and student representatives, participated in the exchange.
As a partner institution of SISU “100 Teams, 1000 Dreams” Research InItiative on Chinese Enterprises Going Global, Grouphorse has maintained a long-standing and well-established partnership with SISU. In June this year, the “100 Teams, 1000 Dreams” Research Program on Chinese Enterprises Going Global was officially launched at SISU’s Songjiang Campus. Zhang Li, President of Grouphorse Group, was invited to attend the launch ceremony as a representative of the partner institutions and receive the commemorative plaque. Building on the existing Grouphorse Data Governance Industry Center under the School of English at SISU, the partnership has since expanded into the broader strategic field of services for Chinese enterprises going global. The visit by SISU faculty and students marks a further continuation and deepening of the two sides’ existing collaboration in university-enterprise cooperation and industry–education integration, as well as a vivid implementation of the “100 Teams, 1000 Dreams” research initiative at the industry front line.
Today, Chinese enterprises going global has evolved from an “optional choice” into an “compulsory question” of our time. Supporting enterprises in pursuing high-quality global expansion is an integral part of China’s high-standard opening-up, while also placing new demands on enterprises’ comprehensive capabilities in language conversion, cross-cultural communication, international compliance, ESG and green standards, Global Communications, and country risk assessment. In response to this defining challenge of our time, Grouphorse leverages its end-to-end capabilities across the “Language—Compliance—Data—Communications—Talent” value chain to continuously provide robust support for enterprises going global, helping them overcome language and compliance barriers, establish a strong international voice, and earn trust in global markets.
As an official language service provider to the United Nations system and nearly 40 international organizations, Grouphorse has long focused on international Language Services and industry–education integration, empowering enterprises’ global expansion with high-standard, highly confidential multilingual services. Leveraging its forward-looking capabilities in AI data annotation and intelligent data governance, Grouphorse transforms the vast policy texts, country information, and overseas public opinion encountered in the process of going global into structured, analyzable, and reusable data assets and AI tools. Drawing on the Grouphorse Data Governance Industry Center under the School of English at SISU, jointly established with SISU, as well as multi-level university-enterprise cooperation practices, Grouphorse continues to advance talent development from “classroom learning” to “project delivery,” providing the industry with a steady stream of interdisciplinary international professionals equipped with a global perspective, language skills, and industry knowledge.
Looking ahead, Grouphorse will continue to focus on the key mission of supporting Chinese enterprises in pursuing high-quality global expansion, improve the ecosystem for services supporting enterprises going global through professional service capabilities, strengthen the talent supply foundation through industry–education integration, and work with universities, enterprises, and partners from all sectors to help Chinese enterprises expand overseas and contribute to China’s high-level opening up.
