The talks covered details about Grouphorse Group, the language service industry in general, the job opportunities available in the industry, and employment in China for international students. The entire event was held in English, and there was a lively, engaging atmosphere throughout. Overall, the Open Day was a resounding success.

Key Moments

To get things started, Klink Zhou, Vice President of Grouphorse Group and General Manager of the Global Center for Translation and Interpreting, welcomed everybody to the Open Day and gave an overall introduction about the Group and the positions that are currently open.

After that, the leadership staff of Grouphorse introduced the company’s various business offerings, covering education, training, language services, human resource (Grouphorse Talent), and so on. They also provided students with the latest information and insights on relevant industries and occupations.

Additionally, the leadership staff of Grouphorse presented a variety of opportunities for which they are actively recruiting within the company including full-time and part-time roles, as well as internships and volunteering. Their platform for finding roles outside the company, which is called Grouphorse Talent was also introduced.

In the Q&A session at the Open Day, the international students had the chance to share their own experiences and raise areas which they had found confusing or difficult while living or studying in China. They showed real admiration towards Grouphorse and a strong willingness to work with the company.
